Back in August, we launched a new Saturday series called “Marketer of the Week.” Since then, the posts that earned the most clicks all had one thing in common. They showcased creators doing something smart, original, or unexpectedly effective with their marketing.

Some sparked debate. Others became instant save-worthy examples. And a few outperformed everything else week after week. As we wrap up 2025, five themes stood out above the rest.

Read on for the strategies and creators you returned to again and again, along with the posts that earned their place on this year’s list.

1. One-Shot Listing Videos

This year, we highlighted two one-shot videos by BAMMYs winner Matt Lionetti. And those blogs ranked among the five most popular marketer of the week posts for 2025.

If you’ve watched either one of these reels, you can probably guess why.

We’ll start with his one-shot video titled, “This is your new morning view,” which follows a woman from the kitchen table through the front door and then flips around to reveal the home itself as it slowly zooms out. And honestly, who wouldn’t love that view?

Without offering a full home tour, the video keeps the viewers’ eyes locked in until the “new morning view” is revealed.

Another favorite of 2025, this one tours the multiple secret doors and passageways in this captivating home. The music alone is worth watching more than once. Also, if you’re like me, you’ll want to answer the question, “How many hidden doors did you count?”

2. Carousel / Static Posts

If you’d rather avoid making videos (or keep them to a minimum), we have good news. First, you’re not alone in that; nearly half (47%) of the agents in the BAM x ReminderMedia survey identified “video” as the content type they have the toughest time with.

Also, and here’s where it gets good, one of the most effective content styles on IG right now doesn’t even require video. It’s a carousel post with a mix of text and images with text overlays.

When we announced this in September, four creators stood out with their examples:

Sharran Srivatsaa’s carousel shows how to turn a personal origin story into high-engagement content, all while teaching something valuable in under ten slides.

Neel Dhingra’s post shows the power of a simple story told one sentence at a time. Each slide feels personal and direct, which is why viewers stay with it through the final frame.

Haley Ingram’s carousel is a reminder that honesty and humor can outperform polished production. The “unhinged” theme gives people a reason to swipe, and the relatable captions make them want to stick around.

Glennda Baker uses this carousel to walk followers through a real client win, step by step. It’s proof-based storytelling in a format anyone can emulate, and the results speak for themselves.

3. Turning Market Data into Engaging Content

Knowing your market data is one thing. Being able to communicate it in a way that engages your audience and (even better) gets them sharing your posts with people they know is on a whole other level.

In September, we highlighted a reel by Utah Realtor Mia Willie that turned recent mortgage rate drops into content people actually care about.

4. Turning Pop Culture into Listing Videos

Our most recent example, and the focus of a top-ranking marketer of the week blog, is a Dancing With the Stars trendjack by Utah realtors Paige Steckling and Kayla Rae Morrow.

5. Building Your Email List through IG

By now, you’ve probably already heard about Alyssa Curnutt’s Hyperlocal Content Course in BAMx. Her strategy for collecting email addresses through Instagram Stories predates that course. And the BAM highlight blog became one of the top marketer of the week posts of 2025.

The Broke Agent explained the strategy in this BAM IG reel:
