Who should agents be following on social media?

According to the BAM x ReminderMedia Social Media Survey, there are some clear favorites.

We asked real estate agents the following questions:

“Who is your favorite real estate follow on social media?”

“Who is your favorite follow for marketing advice?”

Their answers paint a pretty honest picture of what agents want (and don’t want) in their feeds.

Let’s get into the results, starting with top real estate follows.

Top Real Estate Follows

As far as top real estate follows, respondents typed in their responses. Answers ranged widely, but the names that showed up over and over were:

  1. The Broke AgentBAM
  2. Sharran Srivatsaa
  3. Ryan Serhant
  4. Tom Ferry
  5. Glennda Baker
  6. Ricky Carruth & Brian Buffini (Buffini & Company

Other notable responses included, in no particular order:

#1: The Broke Agent – BAM

Nearly 40% of respondents said The Broke Agent is their favorite follow for marketing advice. That is more than double the next closest contender. It makes sense: agents are hungry for content that actually works on social, and BAM delivers that daily.

And because we know agents don’t just need ideas, they need execution, BAMx members receive weekly bundles of fresh, customizable templates vetted by pros who live in the content trenches.

#2: Tom Ferry

Veteran real estate coach Tom Ferry commands a strong following, with nearly a quarter of agents naming him as their go-to for marketing insights.

#3: Sharran Srivatsaa

There’s a reason we’re over the moon about Sharran Srivatsaa joining the BAM Board. Multiple reasons, actually. For one, Sharran’s mix of strategy, systems, and storytelling resonates on a deep level with agents across the globe. For another, his advice goes beyond tactics to the business-level decisions agents need to make.

BAMx members have access to Sharran’s new Productivity Playbook, with more career-changing content on the way.

#4: Luke Acree

Luke Acree, the ReminderMedia CEO and co-host of the Stay Paid podcast is a consistent favorite and a frequent BAM contributor. Agents value his balance of marketing fundamentals and community-driven strategies.

#5: Jimmy Mackin

Curaytor co-founder Jimmy Mackin has carved out a loyal audience by breaking down what works in digital marketing and lead conversion.

#6: Jason Pantana

Known for his practical how-tos, Jason Pantana is a favorite among agents who want step-by-step advice they can apply immediately to their social content.

#7: Ryan Serhant

Million Dollar Listing star and brokerage founder Ryan Serhant remains one of the industry’s most recognizable personalities. Agents follow him not just for marketing advice, but for brand-building inspiration.

#8: Haley Ingram, Coffee & Contracts

Haley Ingram has become a favorite for agents who want to up their content game with approachable, creative ideas. Her Coffee & Contracts community blends templates with practical tutorials.

#9: Chelsea Peitz

Chelsea Peitz continues to be the go-to for agents who want to understand the psychology of social and how to build real connections through video and storytelling. There’s a reason she ranked as one of our “most useful follow” finalists in last year’s BAMMYs

What Agents Can Take Away

The survey results highlight two truths. First, there is no shortage of creators worth following, and most agents mix and match advice from a wide range of voices.

Second, execution matters more than inspiration. The reason The Broke Agent and BAM landed nearly 40% is because BAM makes marketing usable.

For agents, that is the lesson: don’t just consume content; put it into action.
