In the past, I’ve shared how I’ve used Instagram to add up to 142 agent emails to my referral database in a single day.

But IG isn’t just for agent-to-agent connections.

Today, I’m going to share my secret technique for generating local real estate leads on Instagram.

Connect with Local Accounts to Foster New Relationships

Often, we find ourselves posting content, hoping for leads to magically DM us about buying a house. But I’ve discovered a strategy that enables you to actively connect with local prospects.

Instead of waiting for business to come to us, we can proactively seek out individuals within our community. By engaging with their content and fostering relationships, we can nurture them until they’re ready to make a purchase.

Click the “Next” arrow below to go through the steps of generating local real estate leads from IG:

It’s important to note that this strategy only works well when the larger foodie account posts immediately. You’ll want to follow local accounts right as they engage with the foodie account because they’re actively using their phones, engaging with other content at that moment.

Catching them when they’re already online increases your chances of getting a follow back, maximizing the potential for connection with local leads.
