Securing a listing can be competitive, but a well-crafted pre-listing email can help you stand out from the crowd. By connecting with the seller before the in-person meeting, you can build rapport, establish trust, and demonstrate your value.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to create an effective pre-listing email that will help you win the listing.

Keep Yourself Top of Mind

The primary goal of a pre-listing email is to keep yourself top of mind to the seller before the in-person listing meeting. In your email, explain that the pre-listing information is about yourself, your brokerage, and how you uniquely market homes like theirs.

This allows the in-person meeting to focus solely on the seller, their home, and your marketing strategy.

Share Links to Relevant Sales

Include links to homes you have sold that are similar to the seller’s property. These should be homes in the same community or similar models. This shows your experience and success with properties like theirs and helps build credibility.

Use Video Email Software

Utilize video email software like BombBomb to speak directly to the seller. A video email helps establish a personal connection and allows the seller to see and hear you, making the interaction more engaging and memorable.

Include Client Success Stories and Reviews

Attach links to client success stories and reviews, especially video testimonials.

Also, provide links to your testimonials on platforms like Google and Zillow. Positive reviews and success stories are powerful tools to build trust and demonstrate your track record.

Send a Personalized Package

If time permits, send a personalized package to the seller before the appointment. This could include your print marketing materials and a written letter.

We send our sellers a home seller guide that details our working process, which often impresses them and grabs their attention. This step is crucial as most competitors may not take the extra effort to send a pre-listing email or mail physical items.

Imagine the Impact

By the time you meet the clients in person, they will have already seen a BombBomb video, reviewed your success stories, and received a physical mail package of your marketing materials

This comprehensive approach helps you land the listing and positions you ahead of any competition.
