Well, it’s here.
Buying Beverly Hills started streaming on Netflix on Friday, November 4, and after a weekend of binge-watching, the show already made the top 10 list on Netflix. I guess there’s always room for another real estate reality show.
If you haven’t seen the show yet, check out the trailer for a taste of what unfolds in the first eight episodes.
Viewers took to Twitter over the weekend, sharing their thoughts on Buying Beverly Hills. Keep scrolling to find out what people are saying.
Buying Beverly Hills > Selling Sunset
Even before the show was released, people started comparing it to Selling Sunset. It’s pretty hard not to.
Overall, viewers are saying there’s a bit more real estate and a bit less personal drama in Buying Beverly Hills, and most are here for it. Of course, some quickly made it known how much they hate the show.
Buying Beverly Hills >>> Selling Sunset

Definitely prefer buying Beverly Hills over selling sunset, Netflix needs to have more realtor shows over reality shows.

Feels like Buying Beverly Hills is a group of real estate agents who watched Selling Sunset, laughed at what Sunset considered luxury, and said let's show them how it's really done. 😂

And at least their agents seem real like they actually work. Farrah is my favorite.
I can’t watch Selling Sunset bc it doesn’t have enough houses in relation to the quantity of fake drama, but I am excited to report that Buying Beverly Hills has the perfect ratio of houses to drama, a genuinely good Million Dollar Listing replacement!!!

if y’all wanna see how real estate works watch Buying Beverly Hills. while it may still be glorified it’s less personal drama more business drama ☺️

Buying Beverly Hills.. somehow they were able to make a show more repulsive than Selling Sunset and I think that’s pretty cool

Buying Beverly Hills is unwatchably bad. We got this instead of a second season of Selling Tampa?!

Family Business
Mauricio Umansky is no stranger to reality TV. His wife, Kyle Richards, was on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
This show puts Mauricio Umansky at the forefront as it follows a team of agents at his real estate brokerage, The Agency. But it doesn’t just revolve around Mauricio. His daughters, Alexia Umansky and Farrah Brittany, joined the family business as luxury real estate agents and star on the show.
Viewers were quick to point out similarities between Kyle and her daughters, as well as nepotism in real estate (especially when it comes to Alexia, who had a cringe first showing caught on camera—how nervewracking would that be?).
I’m watching Buying Beverly Hills and cannot get over how much Farrah and Alexia SOUND exactly like their mom @KyleRichards

Am I watching “Buying Beverly Hills”?

Yes, I am.
Alexia is a Kyle Richard’s clone. Mauricio gets better looking as he ages.
Watching “Buying Beverly Hills” and that’s the kinda nepotism I want introduced to my life.
— zaystiggy (@zaystiggy) November 4, 2022
Buying Beverly Hills is 90% Alexia crying because she doesn’t want to be seen as the boss’s daughter and 10% the rest of the cast complaining about the nepotism 🫠

I'm a Real Housewives junkie so I'm pretty ecstatic to see that Buying Beverly Hills on Netflix is a Mauricio, Farrah, and Alexis Umansky real estate reality show. pic.twitter.com/wm9H8jTnEn
