The link in your Instagram profile should be put to good use. A common mistake I see a lot of agents make is that they have no call-to-action in their bio, and their link goes to something boring like a brokerage or generic agent website.
This will not capture leads.
I recommend LinkTree or another landing page service that allows you to create a page with multiple links to other sites and web pages.
What to Include in Your LinkTree
Here is an example of what I think is the “perfect LinkTree” by Marie Lee from Tennessee.
First, it’s important to have a CTA that actually calls attention to the link and gets people to click:

Now, let’s get into what she has in her LinkTree. First, she makes it easy for people to schedule a call with her. Then she plugs her local newsletter, followed by two value-add email captures.

What About Solo Links?
If you don’t use something like LinkTree, you should consciously switch out your link(s) in bio to what you want to draw the most attention to.
For example, if you have a new listing that you want to get traction to, that should be your link. If you have a YouTube video you want to get more views, that should be your link. If you have a seller seminar you are putting on, that should be your link. If you want to collect emails, a buyer or seller guide should be your link.
Test it out and see what works best for your profile. Try out different calls to action and rearrange your LinkTree to see what captures the most leads.
Very rarely do people actually click on the link in bio, but if they do, you should be ready.
