Sometimes all you need is some text and a little b-roll.

Here are two posts that absolutely blew up recently in real estate.

They are super easy to replicate.

Post 1: Mortgage Rate History

The first is from a lender called “The Lender That Rocks,” aka Shannon Quicksall. I’m not sure if she originated it, but it doesn’t matter. It got over 350,000 views and probably took about five seconds to make.

Watch it here:

What she did was show the mortgage rate history every five years going back to 1975.

The final line is what matters: “The mistake isn’t buying at 6%, it’s waiting for 3%.”

That one sentence answers one of the biggest objections agents face right now. Buyers are so conditioned by COVID-era rates that they genuinely believe 3% is coming back. This post reframes the entire conversation and provides a large scope of time as context.

The caption further explains:

The b-roll is literally just a house. It could be anything. You sitting at a computer. Local footage. A recognizable spot in your market. Simple as it gets.

We put this template inside our BAMx membership so you can use it immediately. And for the record, we scan real estate content all day for what’s trending so our members don’t have to. Start a 7-day free trial here to get instant access to our weekly content drops.

Post 2: Only a Real Estate Agent

The second is from an agent named Zach Stanley.

Watch it here.

The b-roll is just him eating at a restaurant. The text on screen reads:

A lawyer is waiting for you to get in trouble.

A mechanic is waiting for your car to fail.

A doctor is waiting for you to get sick.

Only a real estate agent wishes for you to get rich and buy your dream home.

16,000 shares. Well over half a million views. Probably took five seconds to make.

We put this template in BAMx, too.

Here’s the Point

B-roll reels like these crush. They capture attention instantly, hold it through the end, and rack up views because retention is close to 100%. When the video is short, and the text is what people are reading, almost nobody scrolls away.

Nothing pushes content more than high retention.

Moral of the story: post more text-on B-roll videos.

Inside our BAMx community, we find what’s working, build the templates, and hand them to you every single week. Every week, our members get customizable reels, hyperlocal carousels, video scripts, all of it updated with what’s actually performing right now.
