This week, I started a new series called AI for Dummies. Because I’m a dummy, and because I want to simplify AI for myself (and for you).

The main problem with most AI content right now is that it feels complicated and unattainable. Overwhelming. The kind of thing that puts you in analysis paralysis until you just… do nothing. At least that’s my experience.

So I’m fixing that. Every week, I’m breaking down one AI tip, something I’ve actually learned or am using in my own content marketing, in 60 seconds or less on Instagram.

The first episode dropped yesterday. It was about using voice mode on Claude or ChatGPT to brain dump your entire story. Which leads me to this week’s tip: how to train AI to sound like you in three steps.

Give Claude your brain.

Over the weekend, I spent 10-20 minutes just talking to Claude. Told it everything. Why I started The Broke Agent, what kind of content I make, my target audience, where I want things to go, what I’m building with BAM Media. All of it.

Now when I open Claude, it already has the context for everything I’m working on. No re-explaining. No starting from scratch. It just knows.

Here’s how to do it yourself.

Step 1: Brain dump

Open voice mode on Claude or ChatGPT, or use a voice recorder like Google Recorder, Otter, or Wispr Flow, and talk for 10-15 minutes answering these:

  • Professional background and career history
  • Your business and role today, what you actually do day to day
  • Your team, clients, and the tools you use
  • Current projects, priorities, and anything top of mind
  • Where you are in your career or business right now
  • The clients you want to reach
  • The areas where you sell real estate
  • Your goals with your business and content

Don’t type it. Talk it. That’s the whole point.

Step 2: Feed it into Claude’s memory

Paste the transcript into a Claude chat or project with this prompt:

“I want to update and give Claude memory context. Below is a transcript with everything I want you to know about me and my professional life. Please read it and add the key information to your memory.”

Already have rich memory built up in ChatGPT? Export it and paste the output into Claude with the same instruction.

Step 3: Verify it worked

Open a new chat and ask: “What do you know about me?”

Claude should give you an accurate summary back. Plan to refresh it roughly once a month as things evolve.

Easy.

That’s your AI for Dummies for the week.
