On this episode of The Massive Agent Podcast—the last episode of 2022—I sit down with Jared Davis to talk about how he built a rental portfolio of 123 properties, and how he’s scaled his investments while growing the sales and profitability of his real estate team: the Davis Group

The whole theme of this episode is how to make 2023 more profitable. How do we lay the groundwork for wealth creation? How do we start to build our net worth in 2023?

Most of you are making plans for the new year, setting goals, and talking a big game about how you’re gonna dominate the market and grow your business like never before. And I love that!

But here’s the thing: far too many agents are not making any investments. If they were suddenly unable to earn commissions, their cash flow would dry up in a hurry. I don’t want that for any of you.

So, today, we’re talking to an agent who grew a sales team of 25 agents in the Richmond, Virginia area and then, four years in, decided to start investing in real estate—first by flipping houses. After all, he had the knowledge.

If you don’t have that knowledge yet, chances are you know some agents who do. That’s why I’m picking Jared’s brain today. He knows how important this is. And he’s going to share exactly how he built his rental portfolio, how he found the properties, how he financed his investments, and how he did all this without dropping the ball as a real estate agent.
