December is what the Knowledge Brokers call Separation Month. It’s the stretch when half the industry mentally checks out, and the other half quietly stacks momentum for the new year.
Whichever camp you fall into is none of my business, but at the very least, you should make it look like you’re alive by staying active on social. Perception is reality.
So here it is. My final content ideas blog of 2025, packed with ideas to keep you visible through the holidays and rolling into January with actual traction.
Get Hyperlocal
I’m leading with this because it will be the most important thing you do all month (and all next year).
At this point, we know the agents who went hyperlocal got the most engagement and the most leads on social media in 2025. Everyone cares about what’s happening near them. Everyone cares about their community. So you should be posting about it.
One of the best agents at posting this content is Alyssa Curnutt. She broke down her entire strategy in a full video series with workbooks, idea banks, scripts, and everything you need to master hyperlocal content. It’s called the Hyperlocal Content Blueprint, and we made it free with your trial into our BAMx community.
This offer still stands for Cyber Monday, so take advantage of it now and grab the blueprint.

Once you’ve done that (because it will be the best thing for your content), you have my permission to read the rest of this blog.
Let’s get into it.
Festive Home Tours
Do a quick-hit Reel of the best-decorated blocks in your market. Holiday lights, inflatable chaos, the cul-de-sac that looks like it’s trying to win an unofficial power consumption contest.
As you move through each neighborhood, sprinkle in quick facts. Average sale price. What’s selling fast. What buyers love about that area.
Highlight a Charity
December is peak community month. Pick one charity or event to spotlight and explain why it matters to you. Gift drives, coat collections, food banks, local fundraisers. Show involvement, not just awareness.
Winter Realtor Problems
Shoveling snow at your listing, frozen lockboxes, slippery driveways, soggy open house signs. Turn the chaos into content.
Format idea: Winter Realtor Problems: Episode 1
(Or 5, depending on how your week goes.)
Client Gift Drop-Offs
Film a quick montage of you delivering gifts. It doesn’t need to be cinematic. You carrying a bag, knocking on doors, leaving simple thank-you packages. This always performs because it’s personal, and it proves you have clients.
It also gives FOMO to people who don’t work with you and who might think: my agent doesn’t do this.
Year-in-Review
Skip the “I did X million” flex. Instead, highlight things people actually connect with.
- Favorite client stories
- Wildest moments
- Lessons learned
- Your most rewarding deals
- Try a UGC carousel (user-generated content). UGC content, like Sharran Srivatsaa’s post below, performs really well right now, so lean in.
Why Buy or Sell During the Holidays
Handle the objections on social before they even get to you in real life. Answer the most common questions.
- “Should I wait until next year to buy or sell?”
- “What are rates going to do next year?”
- “Should I take my home off the market for the holidays?”
This is content gold. Turn it into Reels, carousels, and tweets.
