Recently I tweeted, “Nobody will ever know all the little things agents do to keep a deal alive” and it went real estate viral. I actually Tweeted this a few years ago, but my audience has tripled since the last time and it was a good reminder to repost old content that performed well in the past.
After I saw the reactions on Twitter, I launched it on Instagram and Facebook with the caption, “What’s something you’ve done” and hundreds of comments flooded in with hilarious and relatable stories. The post resonated with so many agents because in every deal, we do stuff for our clients that will never get mentioned.
Whether it’s watering their plants, painting parts of their house, or throwing in your own money, there’s always something that goes completely unnoticed. Let’s face it, you’re not going out of your way to tell a client that you’ve been picking up their underwear for a month straight.
