This week’s episode of The Walk Thru began with a BAM article on how real estate agents can overcome the top excuses to avoid video—and how to get started making their own.

Next up was another BAM guide on how agents can use QR codes in their marketing, followed by an Inman piece on Manhattan broker Tamir Shemesh’s departure from SERHANT. to join Nest Seekers.

From there, the conversation turned to the Instagram blue check and the prospect of paid verification for both Instagram and Facebook, as well as the challenges that go with that.

For the next topic, two months after announcing a TikTok ban on government devices, Texas governor Abbot announced a new statewide security plan banning the download or use of TikTok on any state-issued internet-ready device, including phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers.

Finally, Candace and Andrew join Dan and The Broke Agent in sharing their predictions for Super Bowl LVII this coming Sunday.
