January felt like it lasted a year. February felt like it lasted a day. March is a goldmine for real estate content because spring is here, the New Year slump is officially over, and the madness (literally) begins.

Let’s break down some content ideas.

March 2nd: The Oscars

Hoping to get a Will Smith slap moment for meme purposes. Look for inspirational speeches and viral moments to potentially trendjack.

This is kind of pushing it, but you can do a few things for Oscars content – with the best time to post to stay relevant between this Saturday and Monday.

  1. Showcase homes/listings with a great home theater
  2. Give your own “awards” to the best real estate videos on your team. The easiest way to do this is by simply sharing them to your story or with a carousel post.

March 3rd: The Broke Agent’s Birthday 🎉

Today, we celebrate the birth of a real estate content visionary. A man who has managed to turn dad-at-inspection jokes into a media empire. A man who…is me.

Here are two things you can do for my birthday:

  1. Check out our new Skool Community. The value we bring our members is unmatched, and I’d love to see you in there.
  2. Watch this week’s episode of The Walk Thru, where we debated educational videos for Instagram. Things got HEATED. But seriously, it was a great conversation, and it also covers more March content ideas.

March 9th: Daylight Savings Time

At 2:00 AM, the clocks jump forward, and every real estate agent scrambles to remind their audience about something their iPhones will do automatically.

What NOT to post: A Canva template that says, “Don’t forget to move your clocks forward!” That’s not content. It’s something already known.

What TO post: If you’re going to acknowledge this pointless occurrence, make it real estate relevant. Here’s a joke you can try: “Two things that don’t make sense: trying to time the market and daylight saving time.” Then, break down why waiting for the ‘perfect time’ to buy or sell is a terrible strategy.

March 14th: Pi Day

I have heard some real estate agents say they use the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter as an excuse to drop off pies to their clients. Interesting idea. Anything for a touch point!

March 17th: St. Patrick’s Day

Rapid-fire content ideas:

  • List the 3 best Irish bars in your town. This can be a green screen, or you get bonus points if you go there and film it. Talk about which one has the best vibe and what the lines will be like on the big day.
  • Wear green in your videos. This is a simple trendjack. You don’t even have to acknowledge St. Patrick’s Day for this to work.
  • Showcase the “greenest” places in your market (parks, neighborhoods, eco-friendly homes).
  • Talk about Local St. Patrick’s Day events.
  • Tell a story about how you got lucky in a transaction—or how a deal went south and made you rethink everything.
  • Go around telling people, “Irish I was your agent.” (Actually, don’t do that.)

March 18th: March Madness Begins

For sports fans, this is basically a national holiday. And for employers, it’s a nightmare because productivity drops harder than Bitcoin in February.

  • Create a March Madness bracket challenge for your clients/social media followers. Use it as an email lead grab and offer a fun prize.
  • “Why selling real estate is just like March Madness” → unpredictable, emotional, and usually ends in tears.
  • Do a “Final Four” of your favorite neighborhoods, coffee shops, or restaurants and have people vote in the comments.
  • Talk about the best bars/places to watch the games
  • If you live in a college town and your team is in the tournament, update your audience on when they play.

Try simple graphics like this agent, Kyle Talbot, who crushes hyper-local content.

By the way, we did a full study on Kyle’s page on how he grew from 60 to 60,000 followers in a year from hyper-local content. It’s a full guide on how agents can implement this. 27 pages. It’s free.

March 2025 Social Media Tips

Here’s something to think about when you publish content this month. I dropped this in our BAMx community yesterday.

Make content that breaks news, provides new information, or entertains.

BONUS: White Lotus and Severance are the hottest shows out right now: use their audios in your content for an extra boost!

Let’s have a great month!
