After over a decade of show-stopping deals, iconic feuds, and intimate moments, Josh and Heather Altman are officially leaving Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles (MDLLA).

In a heartfelt video announcement on Instagram, the couple revealed their decision to turn the page on the Bravo series that has been their on-screen home for 15 years as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives.

Million Dollar Listing LA has been a hell of a ride,” they wrote in the Instagram caption. “The memories, friendships, experiences, sales, the highs, the lows and the doors it has opened we will forever be thankful for. NO REGRETS.”

Starting Out on Million Dollar Listing

Heather first appeared on MDLLA Season 3 in 2008, while Josh joined the cast in Season 4. In their video, Heather reminisced that they essentially “grew up on the show,” documenting some of the most pivotal moments of their lives along the way.

“I met my wife on the show, we got married on the show, we had kids on the show, and now they’re running around upstairs playing sports,” Josh said.

Leaving on Good Terms

Looking back, Josh started out as what he calls “a cocky kid trying to get some big sales,” and quickly became one of the show’s most recognizable faces. Now, he averages more than $100 million per month in sales as co-founder of The Altman Brothers Team at Douglas Elliman in Los Angeles.

With everything they’ve been through throughout the years, the decision to move on from the show wasn’t easy. “We’ve kind of been on the fence the last couple years about if we kept pushing through. It was a very tough decision and it’s bittersweet for us,” Josh said in a People exclusive interview

Ultimately, the couple decided to put their family first. “Since season 15 aired, and now that we’re on a pause, Heather and I have had some real quality time with the kids,” Josh explained. “We’re just at that point in our lives where our family comes first and our kids are growing up so fast. We just have to cherish every moment and take it in.”

And, despite some memorable onscreen drama, Josh emphasized that his exit had “nothing to do with relationships on the show.” Fans of the show will recall the on-again, off-again rivalry with co-star Josh Flagg, which played out in fiery exchanges. Yet, he assures fans that he’s leaving on good terms, giving shoutouts to his co-stars and Bravo. “We love our fans and the team behind the show and the producers and the people we do it with. . . We feel so blessed that we were part of something changed the game,” he stated.

What’s Next for Josh and Heather?

While the Altmans are stepping back from MDLLA, they aren’t fading from the spotlight. Both remain influential figures in the real estate world, co-leading the Altman Brothers Team, where they represent A-list clients like Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and Britney Spears. And while there’s no new show on the horizon, fans of the Altman magic will likely still catch glimpses of their luxury listings and family moments on their social media.

For now, it’s clear that Josh and Heather’s focus is on creating lasting memories with their kids, something that’s hard to achieve with the constant demands of a reality TV show. As Josh warmly put it, “There’s nobody I’d rather do it with in the world than this young lady, this amazing realtor, amazing mom, amazing businesswoman—just my soulmate.”
