Instagram just added a new feature to Reels: Quiz. And it’s a great way to engage your audience.

You may have used the Quiz Sticker in Stories, but you can also use it in Reels. It’s similar to the “Poll” feature, except it actually reveals the correct answer!

That means your audience can guess, then see if they were right, right there on the Reel. It adds intrigue, boosts engagement, and keeps people on the post.

IG coach Brock Johnson breaks it down here:

Where to Access Instagram’s New Quiz Feature

Right before you publish your Reel, under “Add a Caption,” the Quiz feature should appear to the far right next to Prompt. If you don’t have it yet, don’t worry. Instagram rolls out features to different accounts at different times.

Here is where it should be:

How Can Agents Use This?

This feature is brand new, so I’m still brainstorming ideas. But here are a few off the top that could be fun and highly engaging:

  • Posting a new listing? Try “Guess the price,” and reveal the listing price as the correct answer.
  • Sharing a market update? Ask, “Guess the average days on market in [your city].”
  • Doing something hyper-local? Use “Guess what’s going in here” with a photo of a new development, then reveal the restaurant or coffee shop or housing project that’ will be opening soon.
  • Want to build your personal brand? Try “Guess how long I’ve been in real estate” or “Guess what sport I played growing up.”

I’m excited to use this feature on BAM to reveal speakers for our events like BAM CAMP.
(And by the way, early bird pricing ends August 1st. So, get your tickets here.)

Remember, anytime IG adds a new feature, it tends to push the content of the creators using it. So, give it a try!

We will be incorporating the Quiz Feature in our BAMx templates, where agents get exclusive access to weekly content ideas, templates, video scripts, emails, and blogs. If you aren’t a member yet, start your free trial today and get instant access.
