Bestselling author, real estate investor, and entrepreneur Grant Cardone listed his Golden Beach, Florida home in April of this year, accepting Bitcoin as a form of accepted currency.

And on July 2nd, Propy announced Cardone listed the same property on its blockchain-based real estate platform. Listed for $42,000,000, or 646 Bitcoin, interested parties can still make an offer in either Bitcoin or U.S. dollars.

If you’re wondering, “What makes this place worth 646 Bitcoin?” check out a few of the property photos:

This will be Cardone’s first venture into emerging proptech technologies involving AI and blockchain.

We are all in on blockchain revolutionizing real estate. We are leveraging top-tier technology to make transactions seamless and unstoppable. This is the future of real estate, and we’re leading the charge!

But, rather than focusing on the platform or cryptocurrency in general, some media outlets are more concerned with Cardone’s religion.

Cardone Responds to Local Headlines

A few days ago, the Miami New Times published an article on Cardone’s listing with the title, “Miami Real Estate Mogul, Scientologist Lists $42M Mansion on Cryptocurrency Platform”

It didn’t take long for Cardone to respond with a Reel about the headline.

Starting off with a thank you for helping him get the word out about his home’s listing, he segued with the words, “I want to make you famous…” but not for the reasons you might think.

Cardone goes on to say “I hope somebody holds you accountable….because you are hacks and you’re lazy…you used my religion (for) clickbait.”

Now, back to Cardone’s listing on Propy.

What Propy brings to the table

Propy’s platform offers the following features:

  • Decentralized Title Registry—which eliminates fraudulent transactions.
  • Escrow Settlement Protocol—which securely stores land records and facilitates transactions
  • Cryptocurrency Payments—to accept or convert cryptocurrency for payment

Compared to traditional listing methods, Propy’s use of blockchain ensures faster, easier, and secure home sale transactions.

The property address is minted on PropyKeys, “an onchain tokenized address market developed on the Base network (Coinbase Layer 2 on Ethereum).”

PropyKeys has as its goal to bring one million property addresses onchain by 2025. Cardone’s high-profile listing should help with that, provided everything goes to plan.

Natalia Karayaneva, the founder and CEO of Propy, said—

With Propy’s advanced blockchain rails, compliant crypto and dollar payments, and unwavering focus on privacy, our clients can confidently navigate the closing process. The inclusion of Cardone’s listing in BTC and USD on Propy, minted with our latest privacy deed feature, highlights our leadership in the intersection of real estate and crypto.
