Finally! January is over. Felt like it took three months, and I wasn’t even doing it dry.

Now that everyone is back in the swing of things, there are no excuses not to crush content. Plus…love is in the air. Can you feel it? I certainly can’t!

Here are your February content ideas.

HOLIDAYS

February 2nd: Groundhog Day

A groundhog can’t determine the weather just like Zillow can’t determine the value of your home. There’s your Tweet that you can screenshot into a post.

We also have that Reel template available for you in our Coffee and Contracts template platform.

Whenever you think about Groundhog’s Day, you think about the movie with Bill Murray where he lives the same day over and over again. This is a great opportunity to post Reels about your routine: waking up, checking the MLS, getting yelled at by a client, doing a showing, writing a contract, going home and drinking a bottle of whiskey… you know your routine!

What pain point is happening to you on a consistent basis? Post about that. Or even better, post about the wins you keep having. Groundhog’s Day can also mean it’s another day of closings and popping champagne!

Super Bowl: February 11th

First off you should be more concerned about our BAM Pro Bowl on February 7th, our free virtual event with Ryan Serhant. If you haven’t RSVP’d yet now is the time to do it here.

Now, this Super Bowl between the Chiefs and Niners is full of things you can trendjack. Here is a quick list to start infusing in your content over the next couple of weeks.

Usher is performing at the half-time show. So, you can start using Usher audios and memes throughout your content starting now. I’m sure there will be viral moments the second he starts performing.

Taylor Swift will be making the journey from her concert in Japan back to Vegas for the Super Bowl…and making content about her is always polarizing and gets clicks. Here are some good examples of what to do.

The first one is from The Orlando Real turning it into a local post:

The second one is from Katie Kenny about Travis Kelce’s recent home purchase.

The Super Bowl is in Vegas, so any real estate agents there should be making local content about how it is affecting the economy, rentals, restaurants, etc.

Also, realtors in Kansas City and San Francisco could be doing content like this:

More Content Ideas for The Super Bowl:

  • What it’s like to be a real estate agent at a Super Bowl Party.
  • When you get invited to a Super Bowl Party at your friend’s new house but they didn’t use you to buy it.
  • Skit ideas: handing out business cards at your Super Bowl, writing offers during the Super Bowl, trying to find ways to bring up real estate during the Super Bowl party.

Valentine’s Day: February 14th

Rapid fire Valentine’s Day Post ideas:

  • Five ways to make your home more romantic
  • The most UNromantic spots in your hometown
  • Five restaurants to go to on Valentine’s Day that won’t break the bank
  • Things to do on Valentine’s Day if you’re single
  • A post about what you LOVE about your hometown
  • A post about what you love about real estate
  • Who are you in a relationship with? Escrow reps, title reps, mortgage brokers, clients, etc.

February: Black History Month

As February marks Black History Month, it’s a great opportunity for real estate agents to educate themselves and their clients about the significant contributions of African Americans in the industry. From architects, designers, and builders to real estate agents and brokers, the black community has a rich history in shaping the housing market.

FEBRUARY SOCIAL MEDIA TIPS

I have two social media tips for this month:

Try some longer captions in your Instagram posts. Not only is this good for SEO, but it can help the replays and view count on your Reels as people read the caption while they watch it.

The second tip is to get your free tickets to our BAM Pro Bowl. This is a virtual event with the best speakers in real estate, and one of the sessions will be covering how to optimize your IG profile to get leads. Again, it’s free, and our keynote speaker is Ryan Serhant. Get your tickets here.

FEBRUARY SPORTS AND POP CULTURE

The Grammys and other awards shows are usually a guarantee for meme-able content. Maybe someone slaps someone. The Super Bowl is on February 11th. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are still dominating conversation and clicks. Rooting for this to end soon.

Hopefully, this was helpful, and you got some good ideas to post this month! Of course, if you want to dive deeper into our strategies, training, mastermind, and our private community, you should definitely check out our platform, BAMx.

Have a great February.
