Today, Realtor.com announced its launch of a new AI layer called RealAssist AI for real estate agents, built to take manual busywork off their plates.
As Realtor.com+ grows to more than 192,000 agents across the U.S., the new AI assistant is designed to free them up for the work only they can do as skilled (and human) real estate professionals.
RealAssist AI starts with three core features, and agents sign off on every action it takes.
What RealAssist AI Brings to Realtor.com+
Realtor.com+ debuted in January 2026. Realtor.com calls it the first collaborative home search experience built with MLSs, meaning agents and their clients can work on a home search in one shared space. In live markets, agent adoption has reached up to 10%.
RealAssist AI is meant to build on that by taking on the repetitive parts of an agent’s day. According to Realtor.com, the AI layer is designed to help agents:
- Work faster
- Stay ahead of client activity
- Take action with more confidence
Realtor.com says the bigger goal is for agents to spend less time on manual tasks and more time serving clients.
The Three RealAssist AI Features Available at Launch
RealAssist AI launches with three core capabilities, and each one covers a different part of an agent’s day.
The first is AI-driven client and search setup. Here’s how the release describes it:
- Guides agents through setting up clients and co-buyers
- Captures client preferences and notes
- Generates home searches tailored to those clients on its own
The second is the Daily Digest. It rolls a client’s activity into one summary with suggested next steps, so agents can see what needs their attention.
Each summary pulls from a client’s:
- Chats
- Searches
- Notifications
- Price changes
The third is Agentic Actions. “Agentic” is a tech term for AI that can take steps on a user’s behalf. Agentic Actions recommends next steps and helps carry out tasks, and the release gives two examples:
- Refining home searches using professional-level MLS data fields
- Drafting client messages in the agent’s own tone
Think Muse (by Meta) or Claude Cowork, but designed specifically for a real estate agent’s workflow.
How RealAssist AI Fits Into an Agent’s Workflow
The release puts agents “in the driver’s seat,” with agents reviewing and approving every action RealAssist AI takes.
Anna Marie Castiglioni, Head of Realtor.com Next, described RealAssist AI as the center of where the platform is headed.
“Realtor.com®+ is evolving into a more intelligent agent workspace that helps real estate professionals reduce manual work, respond faster to their clients, and stay in closer sync with buyer activity – and RealAssist™ AI is at the center of that shift. It transforms the platform from a collaboration center into an agent’s proactive partner. It starts by getting them moving faster through client setup, then keeps working in the background surfacing insights, drafting high-intent communications and flagging ready-now opportunities before an agent even logs in.”
Other New Tools in Realtor.com+
RealAssist AI is part of a bigger round of Realtor.com+ updates. Realtor.com says they’re meant to make agents’ work easier and strengthen their client connections.
The first is an integration with Realtors Property Resource, or RPR. The release calls it one of the National Association of Realtors’ highest-value, member-only assets. Realtors can pull RPR property insights and market reports inside Realtor.com+, in the same place they work with clients.
Jeff Young, CEO of Realtors Property Resource, explained what the integration means for agents and their clients.
“Market questions come up constantly in conversations between agents and their clients. Bringing RPR Market Trends into Realtor.com®+ gives Realtors® access to trusted local market data right inside that collaboration experience, helping them add context to those conversations and guide clients with greater confidence.”
Realtor.com added two more tools to the platform:
- Public invite link: Agents can invite whole groups of buyers into their co-branded collaboration experience with one custom URL or QR code. The release says it helps agents grow their client base without sending invitations one at a time.
- Listing notes: Agents and their connected clients get a persistent place to save context and thoughts on specific listings.
Realtor.com+ Growth and the Unlock MLS Launch
The new tools arrive as Realtor.com+ keeps growing. Here’s where the platform stands, according to the release:
- Live in 21 markets, with four more on the way
- More than 192,000 agents served, which is more than 10% of the U.S. agent market
- Close to 252,000 listings
Unlock MLS, based in Austin, TX, is one of the newest MLSs to launch Realtor.com+. Emily Girard, CEO of Unlock MLS, talked about what each side brings to the partnership.
“Realtor.com® offers top-of-funnel search behavior, and Unlock MLS offers rich, verified transaction data. Put those two things together in a way that keeps the agent at the center, and you get something truly valuable that neither side can build alone. For a long time, the assumption was that MLSs had to either build every piece of tech ourselves or hand our data over and hope for the best. This is a third path where we bring the expertise nobody else has – what our data actually means, how agents actually behave inside it – and Realtor.com® brings expertise we don’t have and shouldn’t have to build from scratch.”
With more markets on deck, Realtor.com+ is set to reach more agents. Realtor.com is putting RealAssist AI at the center of the platform as it grows.
