Congratulations. Dry January is over. I didn’t participate, of course, but for those of you who did… congratulations.
Now that we survived what felt like the longest month in history, let’s get into the February content ideas for real estate agents.
Oh, and by the way, February 4th is the most important day in real estate history, so pay extra close attention to that.
February 1st: The Grammys
There will probably be some memeable moments. You can trendjack the Grammys with posts like “best musicians from your market,” “famous musical artists from your hometown,” or “best local musicians.” You can also film some B-roll and overlay the song that reminds you most of your hometown.
February 2nd: Groundhog Day
A groundhog can’t predict the weather, just like Zillow can’t determine your home’s true value. There’s your tweet or Thread. Screenshot it and turn it into a post.

When you think about Groundhog Day, you probably think about the movie where Bill Murray relives the same day over and over again. You can trendjack this day in a few ways.
First, take the real estate routine pain point route. B-roll of waking up, checking the MLS, getting ghosted by a client, doing a showing, writing a contract, pouring a drink… repeat.
Hook: “Well, it’s Groundhog Day… again.” Then montage your day in the life.
Even better, make it hyperlocal and positive. Start your Reel or Carousel with: “If I had to live the same day over and over again in (insert city), here’s what I would do.” Then list three to five things that make the perfect day. We actually have this template for you in our community.

February 4th: The BAM Pro Bowl III
If you attended last year or the year before, you already know this is the best virtual event in real estate. And it’s Free…
Here’s the lineup:
Neel Dhingra: The New Rules for Standing OutLearn the exact framework for cutting through the noise and becoming the obvious choice in your market when everyone else is blending in.
Jared James and James Dwiggins: Elevating Agent Status
A high-level breakdown of how to reposition your value, justify your worth, and earn trust in the new regulatory landscape.
Theoni Rapo: The FaceTime StrategyStop overcomplicating video. Theoni breaks down her storytelling-through-FaceTime method for creating authentic content that actually converts followers into clients.
Play-by-play commentary by Byron Lazine and The Broke Agent, plus the National Anthem by Kyle Cheng.
Kickoff at 12 PM EST. We’re almost at capacity. Don’t miss it.
February 8th: The Super Bowl (way less important than the BAM Pro Bowl)
The game is in Santa Clara between the Patriots and the Seahawks. A brutal matchup if you’re not a fan of either team.
Bad Bunny is performing at halftime, so his audio will be trending. Get ahead of it.
Hyperlocal post idea: If you don’t want to watch at home or go to a Super Bowl party, here are three great spots with a good vibe and fewer crowds.
Listing idea: If there were ever a house to throw a Super Bowl party, this would be it.
February 9th: National Pizza Day
Perfect time to do pizza reviews or list your top five pizza spots in your market. Or start a debate in the comments with a hook like: “The best slice in (your city) is…”
February 14th: Valentine’s Day
Rapid-fire post ideas:
- Five ways to make your home more romantic
- The most unromantic spots in your hometown
- Three Valentine’s Day dinner spots that won’t break the bank
- Things to do on Valentine’s Day if you’re single
- What you love about your hometown
- What you love about real estate
- “Who are you in a relationship with?” (escrow reps, title reps, mortgage brokers, clients, etc.)
Some agents make dinner reservations and give them to clients, but this can backfire if you forget and mess up the restaurant’s night. Just saying.
February 20th: National Love Your Pet Day
Post about the best places to take your pet in your market: dog parks, groomers, pet-friendly beaches, and more.
February social media tips
Variety, variety, variety. Reels are very hit or miss right now on Instagram. Keep mixing it up with carousels, static image posts, and Reels. Our best performing content on BAM right now is carousels.
Sometimes, you just have to post through it.
Final reminder
Sign up for the BAM Pro Bowl. Don’t miss the biggest virtual event for real estate agents.
Have a great February.
