This might be the easiest viral listing video you’ll ever create. And I’m giving you everything you need to cook it up in the next 60 seconds.

We recently made a video for one of our listings that was inspired by a Ring doorbell clip I saw online. At first, I thought it was real, only to realize I’d been baited.

In the video, a little boy is being chased by a dog, running for the door. But when the camera cuts, we find out it’s not a dog at all, it’s Pitbull. The rapper.

That’s when it hit me: this idea is perfect for a listing video.

Step 1: Capture the Clip

All you need is your iPhone.

  • Set your camera to 0.5 (the wide-angle lens).
  • Shoot vertically.
  • Place your phone by the front door, right at doorbell height, propped on the ground.

Now, get into character:

  • Step out of frame.
  • Sprint toward the camera.
  • Yell: “Mom, Mom, let me in! There’s a Pitbull chasing me!” (or “Honey, honey, let me in!”, whatever fits, but make sure you say Pitbull is chasing you).

That’s it. One take.

We’ve already done the heavy lifting for you. Below this blog, you’ll find:

  • A green screen + template you can use in CapCut to overlay Pitbull.
  • A Premiere Pro file if you’ve got an editor or videographer who can run with it.

With one click, Pitbull is suddenly in your listing video.

Step 3: Stick the Landing

Here’s how we ended ours: with a triple stack, horizontal footage of the house that rolls after the gag.

Don’t have horizontal video? No problem.

  • Use vertical B-roll from your iPhone.
  • Or create your own triple-stack layout.

Either way, the goal is simple: hook them with the viral moment, and finish by showcasing the property.

Why This Works

It’s funny. It’s unexpected. It’s easy to replicate.

And most importantly, it puts attention on your listing in a way no “just listed” graphic ever will.
