As a real estate agent, you know there’s no shortage of content to create. But if there’s one type of content that should be at the top of your list, it’s educational content. And when it comes to finding inspiration, news outlets are a goldmine.
The problem? With countless options out there, sifting through them all to find the right content can feel like a full-time job in itself.
That’s valuable time you could be spending on creating. So, to save you the hassle, I’ve rounded up the top five media outlets I rely on for real estate content. Bookmark these sites, sign up for their newsletters, and start crafting more high-value content that resonates with your audience today.
#1: BAM
Number one is nowbam.com. From what is happening on the macro level to what’s happening specifically in the real estate industry, BAM is breaking down some really large concepts into really simple, executable ideas—with no paywall.
I highly encourage going to nowbam.com the next time you’re getting ready to shoot some videos. And don’t forget to sign up for the free newsletter so you don’t miss a thing.
The folks at BAM also created the BAMx platform, making it even easier to create content.
Every week, BAMx members get BAMx in a Box—a bundle of templates for timely, data-driven video scripts, email, social media posts, and a blog—saving you hours of time and making it easy to share the latest impactful news on real estate and the housing market.

That alone is well worth the cost of signing up (because there’s so much more than templates in BAMx!).

#2: Read the Blueprint Newsletter
The Blueprint is putting out one or two emails every single week with high-level information that I’m literally taking, putting into ChatGPT, and turning into scripts.
Read the Blueprint is a totally free newsletter to sign up for.
#3: The Real Deal
The Real Deal is a pay-to-play platform. And a lot of the news is real estate market-centric. However, I have found a lot of great info there.
I like that they break down the country by region, so I can specifically find information on things happening in Los Angeles.
#4: Keeping Current Matters (KCM)
There is a very low cost to entry when it comes to KCM, and it’s 100% worth it. My favorite part of what they’re creating right now is their local market data.
Obviously, the MLS has a lot of information for us, but KCM has its own local market information. The charts and graphics that they will dish out based on whatever city you put in are SO worth checking out.
#5: Any Large News Outlet
Don’t overlook large news outlets:
- CNN
- CNBC
- FOX News
- Yahoo
They may not be 100% real estate or housing market-focused, but the reality is these platforms have a lot of smart, knowledgeable people on payroll writing headlines, catchphrases, and different things we can apply to our marketing.
So, head on over to whatever news periodical that you’re interested in. Look for what they’re sharing related to the real estate market and turn it into your own.
What news sources are you going to? Let me know because I’m always curious how to level up the game. And if you found this helpful, make sure to share it with someone you know.
