Halloween 2025 is giving us everything: haunted listings, possessed home sellers, and agents who risked life and limb for the perfect Reel.
Real estate pros didn’t just dress up; they turned their feeds into cinematic universes.
This year, the stakes were higher and the ideas even wilder. From Michael Meyers real estate challenges to cinematic crossovers, these creators proved you can entertain your audience and stay top of mind without ever mentioning mortgage rates.
Below are the standout posts lighting up the industry right now on Instagram. Some are scary good. Some are just plain unhinged.
All are serious contenders for this year’s BAMMYs.
Pure Halloween Gold
Grab something warm and snuggly before you start watching these. Also, maybe hold off on the drinks, unless your sinuses need a power rinse. These are meant to be enjoyed.
#1: The Michael Meyers House Tour Challenge
Michael Meyers joins the Property Brothers-in-Law for a Halloween “House Tour Challenge,” turning a day of showings into pure chaos. They manage to open the lockbox, almost get their booties on, and completely lose their cool before the final scare.
#2: Would you be able to escape Michael Meyers?
Krys Benyamein’s team took the challenge in this reel, with each contender given two tries to unlock the door before “Michael Meyers” catches up to them. It’s harder (and even more nerve-wracking) than it looks.
#3: Ghostface Crashes a Showing
Shane Burgman shows up five minutes early for a showing and ends up fighting for his life against Ghostface. What starts as a routine walkthrough turns into a full-blown horror short with a katana, a killer punchline, and a deceptively carefree whistle that kicks in after the cleanup.
#4: The Shane-ing
Shane Burgman is at it again, this time channeling his inner Jack Torrance as he takes an axe to a door in pursuit of the one thing every listing agent wants: feedback. Between the maniacal grin, the “Heeere’s Shane!” moment, and the plea for buyer’s agents to just text back, this Reel nails the fine line between comedy and catharsis.
#5: Ghost Tour
Inspired by Disney’s Haunted Mansion, this reel by SW Florida Realtors Ashley Harris and Christian Harris takes the viewer through a video tour of their latest listing, led by a “ghost host” with a highlight reel and some unsettling questions.
#6: Nosferatu’s Newest Listing
We’re gonna go ahead and assume that Shane Burgman’s favorite holiday is Halloween, based on his current IG feed. His make-up artist deserves a BAMMY for transforming him into Count Orlok, but Burgman’s dry, vampiric rundown of the details (the ones that stood out for him, anyway) is what really sells it.
Plus, it makes us happy to see Burgman got some extra mileage out of his costume with this glow-up reel:
And this “open house vampire” reel:
And finally, Shane’s kids meet Nosferatu:
#7: “Ghost Your Ex, Not Your Realtor”
Krys Benyamein posted this to show you don’t have to film a video to nail the Halloween spirit. From the costume and sign to the caption to the listing photos in the carousel, it’s the perfect mix of seasonal humor and strong real estate copy, which is why it earned a spot on our list
#8: The Real Jump-Scares in Real Estate
Lauren Rasmussen posted this carousel of “certified jumpscares” for real estate agents. And, we’re honestly hoping some of these are made up.
#9: Realtors on Halloween
Apparently, Shawn King posted this reel as a PSA to parents to avoid Realtor homes when taking their kids trick-or-treating.
So, which one of these (or more than one?) would you nominate for a BAMMYs award? Register here and mark your calendar to join us for our final live virtual event of 2025.
Happy Halloween from all of us here at BAM!
