Patrick Mahomes, who’s preparing to lead his team against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII, is a star quarterback many believe to be a legend in the making.
He’s also a savvy real estate investor who’s wasted no time growing his multimillion-dollar real estate empire.
While we wait patiently for Sunday, we’re diving into the impressive real estate portfolio owned by 27-year-old Patrick Mahomes.
#1— Kansas City Condo

Patrick Mahomes made his first real estate investment in December 2017 when he bought a two-bedroom, three-bathroom condo in Kansas City for $350,000. (We love that he didn’t over-extend his budget, despite signing a multi-million dollar contract earlier with the Kansas City Chiefs earlier that year).
And the property, which was sold by Jodi Steinberg of Reece Nichols Real Estate, was a great investment. The 1,800-square-foot property is estimated to be worth around $500,000 today, featuring a rooftop deck, a two-car garage, granite kitchen countertops, high ceilings, and a wet bar.
#2— Kansas City Mansion

Mahomes upgraded to a contemporary ranch-style mansion in Kansas City in January 2019. The home, which sold for $1.8 million, was listed by Tom Suther and Kevin D. Bryant of Compass.
The 4,300-square-foot mansion features tall ceilings, a spacious primary bedroom, a chef’s kitchen, an office, and an exercise room. And this property has some more luxurious amenities you’d expect from an NFL quarterback: a 500-bottle wine room and a personal gym.
The newly updated home is located 20 minutes from Arrowhead Stadium and is estimated to be worth $2.23 million today.
#3— New Construction in Belton

Mahomes has also built from the ground up. In September 2020, he purchased an 8-acre vacant site in Belton, Missouri, about half an hour from Kansas City. The ask on the land, listed by Ashlea Black and Dale Brouk of Loch Lloyd Residential Real Estate, was $400,000.
Mahomes expanded the property in 2021 by constructing a new home on the grounds, and in 2022, he added a pool. Today, the estate is valued at over $1 million.
#4— Westlake Mansion

Mahomes’ most recent purchase was a luxurious mansion in Westlake, Texas, from the estate of the late Andrew Gissinger III, a former professional football player for the San Diego Chargers.
The newly-built 4-bedroom home was initially listed for $4.26 million, but Mahomes bought it for $3.37 million in March 2020 to accommodate his growing family.
Mahomes, a Texas native who played football and baseball at Texas Tech University, uses this home as his off-season residence. The property boasts a formal living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a formal dining room with a temperature-controlled wine room, and a private study with a spiral staircase. The primary suite offers panoramic views, a spa bath, and a walk-through shower. With views of the Vaquero golf course, the mansion is considered an “entertainer’s dream.”
Currently valued at approximately $5.5 million, the listing was held by Kelly Marcontell and Susan Gilchrest with Ebby Halliday Realtors.
