There’s a new podcast coming to the BAM YouTube channel.

The name is simple: Branded. And it neatly sums up exactly what the pod is all about.

Host Brad McCallum, Canadian Realtor, video creator and marketing guru, and speaker at BAM Mania, is interviewing industry experts all about branding in real estate.

McCallum has been in the real estate industry for just seven years. About six months in, he realized he wanted to forge a different path toward building his own real estate brand

I wanted to create something that truly moved the needle for my clients so I began filming and editing and starring in the listing tours of the homes I was selling. I posted them on YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and even Instagram.

Though his primary goal for each of these videos was to sell the home, McCallum quickly learned his own personal brand was building along with his growing visibility on each platform.

As more people in his market saw his videos, he started to attract clients who wanted to work with him before they met him.

The more I shared on social media, the more I got to meet other outstanding agents from around North America who are also building strong personal brands. Those early connections and conversations helped me innovate on my marketing and shape my messaging so I could build an even stronger business and brand. Learning from incredible agents across North America allowed me to shorten my own learning curve and get there much faster.

Brad McCallum

As he puts it, McCallum created the Branded Podcast as a way for him to “share the tips, tactics, and philosophies behind some of this industry’s most well-known personal brands.”

Just like those early conversations helped me in my career build a personal brand known across North America, I hope these conversations will help the listener get inspired to build the sort of business they always wish they had and never thought possible.

With all the challenges facing real estate professionals right now—from declining transactions, NAR settlement changes, and ramped up competition—agents with compelling brands “have the strongest businesses going forward and are the ones most insulated from negative changes.”

McCallum believes the thoughts and ideas shared in these interviews can help agents build strong real estate brands and fast-track their business growth.

Block out some time for episode #1 with Jimmy Mackin, and you’ll understand why we value marketing that’s (at least) as useful as it is entertaining.

Branded Guest #1: Jimmy Mackin

McCallum’s first guest is Jimmy Mackin, CEO of Curaytor and co-author of Exactly What To Say for Real Estate Agents, with Phil Jones and Chris Smith.

According to the tagline in his bio, Mackin is a man “on a mission to become the most useful person to follow in real estate.”

I believe that just might be true. As the CEO of Curaytor and one of the most dynamic speakers and thought leaders, Jimmy shares actionable tactics that agents can implement into their business today to see results tomorrow.

Mackin helps agents run paid campaigns on different platforms. To that end, he’s constantly seeking out and experimenting with new ideas to help his followers get the best possible results from their marketing efforts, as well as every dollar spent to reach and cultivate leads.

Jimmy shares a ton of value in this episode whether you’re a brand new agent or a seasoned veteran, his pulse on where the industry is at and what is and isn’t working in marketing is super important for any agent looking to grow their business.
