The real estate industry has no shortage of recruiting tools, but Humaniz is betting that the real problem has never been the software.
Which is why its latest announcement is all about the data.
Today, Humaniz announced plans to launch AgentIntelligence, a proprietary AI-powered platform designed to replace MLS-dependent recruiting data with a much richer set of agent-level signals as part of its 2026 roadmap.
Over the last 12 months, the company has generated more than 28,000 agent introductions for hundreds of teams and brokerages nationwide and contributed to more than $3 billion in closed transactions.
That scale gives weight to its claim that MLS-based recruiting data has hit a ceiling.
Why Humaniz says recruiting has a data problem
At the center of the company’s announcement is a blunt diagnosis of what is holding recruiting back. Chris Giannos, founder and CEO of Humaniz, explained the challenge:
“The industry doesn’t have a software tooling problem, it has an input problem. If your data can’t reliably tell you who the agent you’re trying to recruit actually is or how to reach them, everything downstream is 10x harder.
“AgentIntelligence is being built to fix that core problem.”
Many recruiting platforms rely on MLS feeds that were built for transaction tracking and brokerage administration, not for identifying, reaching, and engaging people.
When recruiting workflows sit on top of those systems, they inherit all of those blind spots.
How AgentIntelligence is designed to work
Humaniz says AgentIntelligence is being built to break that dependency. The platform will run on a proprietary agent data matrix created entirely independent of legacy MLS systems.
Instead of only pulling transaction records, the system is designed to continuously assemble a much more complete picture of who an agent is and how they operate.
According to the company, those continuously refreshed profiles will be built using a wide range of signals, including:
- Where an agent is in their career
- Brokerage affiliation
- Team participation
- Market presence
- Public performance indicators
- Online footprint
- Promotional behavior
This shift from static MLS records to live, multi-source profiles is what Humaniz says will allow recruiting to move from guesswork to precision.
AgentIntelligence is being built as an execution platform that actively drives outreach.
The system will use AI-driven communication across text, email, and direct mail to generate inbound recruiting conversations on behalf of teams and brokerages.
Identity resolution, prioritization, messaging, and compliance controls are all designed to run from a single intelligence layer, which means recruiting workflows don’t have to jump between disconnected tools.
Mike Nicklas, CTO of Humaniz, described the thinking behind this approach in the company’s announcement. He emphasized data by itself doesn’t create an advantage unless it’s wired directly into execution.
“Proprietary data only creates leverage when it’s activated correctly. AgentIntelligence is being built to move recruiting from brute-force guesswork to precision execution.”
The Foundation of Humaniz’s Recruiting System
Humaniz’s confidence in building a platform this ambitious comes from its own operating history.
Chris Giannos scaled his real estate team from 2 agents to more than 200 in just over 2 years, closing $1.5 billion in transactions along the way. The recruiting systems he built to handle that growth eventually became the foundation for Humaniz itself.
AgentIntelligence is now being positioned as the next evolution of that same recruiting engine, updated for a world where the most important signals live outside the MLS.
What’s coming in Humaniz’s 2026 roadmap
The company is also making it clear that AgentIntelligence will not exist in isolation.
As part of its 2026 roadmap, Humaniz plans to expand into a broader recruiting ecosystem designed to support how people discover opportunities and how teams and brokerages attract them.
The initiatives Humaniz plans to roll out include:
- A Humaniz-powered agent job board designed to connect people with teams and brokerages looking to grow
- AI-driven recruiting communication, including SMS and email, coordinated directly from AgentIntelligence
- Done-for-you recruiting execution, where Humaniz systems manage outreach and appointment setting
- Direct mail activation, integrated with digital intelligence for multi-channel recruiting strategies
Taken together, these pieces are intended to move recruiting away from fragmented, disconnected tools and into a single, intelligence-driven workflow.
Instead of manually stitching together spreadsheets, CRM exports, and third-party marketing platforms, recruiting will run from one unified system powered by proprietary data.
Humaniz is giving the industry a closer look at that vision later this winter. The company announced a live webinar titled “Inside AgentIntelligence: Proprietary Agent Data, Predictive Signals, and AI Recruiting Execution,” scheduled for Thursday, February 19 at 1:00 PM CT.
The session will preview the platform’s vision, data architecture, and 2026 roadmap, followed by a moderated Q&A with the Humaniz executive team, and is free to attend.
For anyone tracking where recruiting technology is heading next, AgentIntelligence represents a clear statement of direction.
Humaniz is betting that the future of growth depends less on better MLS feeds and more on owning the intelligence layer that sits on top of every conversation, every signal, and every outreach attempt.
