See if you can top this. We dare you.
A new collab video by Derrick Gregory and Shane Burgman has landed on Instagram, and it’s already racked up some rave reviews:
- “Hahahaa so good! Special effects are next level.” (@utahrealestatepage)
- “Unreal, my guys” (@krysbenyamein)
- “Thermostat scariest part by far” (@thebrokeagent)
- “This is so good” (@dan_the_realtor)
- “I just know they had way too much fun making this” (@kait_erb)
- “The level of commitment on this is higher than most agents getting sign-ins at open houses” (@thedailyarden)
Halloween is right around the corner. And pros like the creators behind this video know a pop culture reference is not enough to get people watching your content on repeat. But it can definitely get their attention.
Add a winning script, a dash of oddball humor, and some Oscar-worthy performances by Burgman and Gregory, and you’ve got a recipe for a Halloween listing video like no other.
Watch below and tell us we’re wrong.
How to Create the Perfect Alien-Themed Real Estate Video
It all starts with a bit of foreshadowing as Burgman and Gregory walk into the five-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath home for a showing. Burgman’s buyer character is obviously in pain as he walks in. Gregory makes the point that the home has 3,500 square feet.
Burgman’s reply: “That’s perfect. We need the space.”
Gregory: “Oh, are you expecting?”
Burgman: “You could say that.”
Of course, as the pain worsens, Burgman asks to use the bathroom. And while Gregory is asking himself, “Is it fo-yay or fo-yer?” he discovers the water is not on and rushes to the bathroom to warn Burgman, who by then is lying in the tub, bracing himself for the inevitable.
Anyone who’s ever watched an Alien movie knows what’s about to happen. But you probably aren’t prepared for the special effects—or for the way Burgman and Gregory use Alien lore to create the perfect real estate “movie” for Halloween.
No more hints. Give it a watch and then head over to Instagram to leave a comment of your own. And don’t forget to share it with your fellow content creators—and Halloween enthusiasts.
