Today is Halloween, and some of our favorite real estate content creators have given us some excellent fodder for a post on spooky content. And as an added bonus, some of the content includes ideas for career-appropriate Halloween costumes.

As you’ll see, this year’s selection offers an eclectic mix of Instagram posts, including collaborative skits, a creative movie mash-up, and people doing terrible things to candy.

We’ll start with Tori Stanley’s post with Halloween costume ideas for Realtors—just in case you need a last-minute costume for tonight.

Here are some other posts that must be seen to be believed—and fully appreciated:

#1: “When Freddy Krueger enters a Realtor’s dreams”

Everyone who’s ever stayed up late (alone or at a slumber party) watching Friday the 13th movies can appreciate this post by Derrick Gregory. And any Realtor who’s ever wanted to dress as Freddy Krueger for Halloween now has the perfect tie-in to real estate life.

Freddy is officially out of his depth with real estate agents—or at least this one.

#2: “The Ring”

This brilliant home tour video is the product of a collaboration between Shane Burgman, Dan McKinnon, and Derrick Gregory. If you can rock a Samara costume like Shane, this costume is extremely budget-friendly, minus the well and the window that looks like a TV.

#3: “Selling Amityville”

In the spirit of transparency, Shane Burgman’s Realtor character has just told the homebuying couple that not one, not two, but SIX people were “heinously murdered” in the adorable house they want to buy.

But the house is “fiiiine,” he says. All that murdery stuff is in the past. Sure, the basement is a bit sketchy, but, to quote Ryan Reynolds, “Houses don’t kill people…” And Shane would agree—until the clock strikes 3:15.

#4: “Obligatory Halloween Post”

Actually Agents shared a series of memes appropriate to the season, including a few more Halloween costume ideas for agents:

  • “Miami real estate agent”
  • “Top producer”
  • “Sane and realistic client”

#5: “Honestly, not my worst listing appointment”

Shane Burgman, Derrick Gregory, and Jesse Rottinghaus collaborated on this one, and it dials up the dark to a solid 11.
