Real Brokerage just appointed San Diego Realtor Jason Cassity as its new Chief Growth Officer.
The role is a newly created position within the company’s leadership team. Sharran Srivatsaa, president of Acquisition.com, Real board member, and BAM board member, has this to say about the announcement:
“Years from now, Real will look back at naming Jason Cassity as Chief Growth Officer as one of the defining decisions in the company’s history.
“I recommended him to the board because I believe that completely.”
Real Creates a Chief Growth Officer Role to Accelerate Expansion
The new position reflects Real’s focus on growing the brokerage by putting experienced agents in leadership roles.
Cassity joins the executive team with 13 years as a top-producing Realtor and team leader in San Diego, where he built and leads The Cassity Team. In recent years, he has served as a Growth Ambassador for Real, working closely with agents and company leadership to attract top talent and strengthen engagement across the platform.
Many agents across the industry also know him as the co-host of The Walk Thru podcast alongside The Broke Agent, where he regularly discusses marketing and technology with agents across the country.
In the Chief Growth Officer role, Cassity will lead the company’s brokerage growth strategy, including initiatives focused on agent acquisition, activation, and long-term engagement.
The position also places him at the center of efforts to scale Real’s collaborative network of agents and Growth Ambassadors across markets.
Real Chairman and CEO Tamir Poleg said Cassity’s experience inside the business was a major reason the company created the role around him. He explained the decision this way:
“Jason’s experience as a top-producing agent and as the leader of a highly successful team gives him unique insight into what agents need to grow their businesses.
“His expertise will help us accelerate growth while ensuring our platform provides agents with the tools, support and opportunities they need to succeed at every stage of their careers.”
Cassity said the opportunity to move into executive leadership represents a major milestone after several years of building his career inside the company:
“I am incredibly honored to join the leadership team to help architect the future of this company. Three and a half years ago, I bet my career on Real because I saw a vision that was bigger than a traditional brokerage.
“Today, I am stepping away from my personal production to ensure that every agent who joins us has the tools, the technology and the community they need to achieve their own greatness.”
It also helps that Cassity is warm, relatable, and always ready to go the extra mile for his clients and fellow real estate agents.
From producing agent to executive leadership
Cassity’s new role also marks the end of a long run in personal production. After more than a decade building his own real estate business, he is stepping away from day-to-day transactions to focus on helping scale the brokerage’s growth strategy across the entire company.
Cassity said the opportunity represents a major personal milestone and a responsibility he takes seriously as the company continues to expand.
“I’m honestly very humbled by this. REAL isn’t just a fast growing start up anymore. We’re home to some of the biggest real estate agents and teams in the world. The fact that I was asked to help architect the next phase of growth at REAL is the biggest honor of my career.”
The appointment also comes alongside several recent leadership additions at the company.
Earlier this year, Orlando agent Ken Pozek joined the company’s Board of Directors. Nationally recognized coach Dusty Oglesby also transitioned from agent and team leader into a leadership role as Vice President of Agent Learning & Development.
Together, those moves reflect Real’s ongoing effort to bring more agent perspective into the company’s leadership structure as it continues expanding across markets.
