As always, January felt like it lasted a year and February felt like it lasted a day.
One month left in Q1. Let’s give you some content ideas.
General themes to keep in mind:
Spring market (official day March 20th), better weather, longer days, fresh energy, and March Madness.
March 3rd: The Broke Agent’s Birthday
Today, we celebrate the birth of a real estate savant. A man who has managed to turn open house memes into a media empire. A man who…is me…writing this about myself right now.
Anyway, here are two things you can do for my birthday:
First, join me as I host the legend, Luke Acree, for a free BAM training this upcoming Wednesday on: Building Predictable Lead Flow: The Relationship-First Marketing Formula Used by Top Agents. Register here.
Second, watch this week’s episode of The Walk Thru, where Tom Storey broke down his YouTube blueprint: how he closed 40 deals with three simple videos.
If you do those two things, your life will improve dramatically.
March 6th: Employee Appreciation Day
Nobody knows this day exists because it’s, of course, one of those fake holidays, but this could be a good time to show some love for your team and/or vendors.
You can post a carousel with a hook: “When you hire me to sell your home, you don’t just hire me…” and then it swipes to all of your people.
If you’re a BAMx member, you can grab it in this week’s content drop.

March 8th: International Women’s Day
Highlight women-owned businesses in your area.
March 8th: Daylight Savings Time
At 2:00 AM, the clocks jump forward, and every real estate agent scrambles to remind their audience about something their iPhones will do automatically. I miss when I lived in Arizona and this wasn’t even a thing.
What NOT to do: A Canva template that says, “Don’t forget to move your clocks forward!” That’s not content. It’s something already known. Also, don’t send an email blast reminding people.
What you can do instead: If you’re going to acknowledge this pointless occurrence, make it real estate relevant.
Here’s a joke you can try:
“Two things that don’t make sense: trying to time the market and daylight saving time.”
Then, break down why waiting for the ‘perfect time’ to buy or sell is a terrible strategy.
Or you can do two things that don’t make sense: daylight savings time and pricing your home like it’s 2023.
March 14th: Pi Day
I have heard some real estate agents say they use the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter as an excuse to drop off pies to their clients. Sounds miserable. But, anything for a touch point!
March 15th: The Oscars
Showcase homes/listings with a great home theater. Hook: “Didn’t get to see Sinners on the big screen? No problem because this house has a better set up than a theater…”
Give your own “awards” to the best real estate videos on your team. The easiest way to do this is by simply sharing them in your story or with a carousel post. You can also give awards to the best hyperlocal spots in your area:
“In honor of the Academy Awards, I’m nominating the best coffee shops in [insert location].”
March 17th: St. Patrick’s Day
Rapid-fire content ideas:
List the 3 best Irish bars in your town. This can be a green screen, or you get bonus points if you go there and film it. Talk about which one has the best vibe and what the lines will be like.
Wear green in your videos. This is a simple trendjack. You don’t even have to acknowledge St. Patrick’s Day. Just having green on will give your content a boost as people acknowledge it.
Showcase the “greenest” places in your market (parks, neighborhoods, eco-friendly homes).
Talk about Local St. Patrick’s Day events.
Tell a story about how you got lucky in a real estate transaction or just in life.
Go around telling people, “Irish I was your agent.” (Just kidding, don’t do that unless you want to get punched in the face).
March 18th: March Madness Begins
For sports fans, this is basically a national holiday. And for employers, it’s a nightmare because productivity drops harder than Bitcoin in February. For those of you who don’t know what this is, it’s the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.
Create a March Madness bracket challenge for your clients/social media followers. Use it as an email lead grab and offer a fun prize.
“Why selling real estate is just like March Madness” → unpredictable, emotional, and usually ends in tears.
Do a “Final Four” of your favorite neighborhoods, coffee shops, or restaurants and have people vote in the comments.
Talk about the best bars/places to watch the games.
If you live in a college town and your team is in the tournament, update your audience on when they play.
If you’re a fan of a team in the tournament, post about it.
March 20th: First Day of Spring
Compare the Spring market with the Winter market and what to expect. Use actual data.
A great hack is looking up what is going Viral on X and seeing what the chatter is around housing. Right now, everyone is yapping about affordability and acting like we are on the brink of a housing crisis (which they’ve been saying for the last 5 years).
This sort of doomer talk gets clicks and claps online when you say “HOUSES AREN’T AFFORDABLE!” But that’s actually not the case.
In fact, affordability jumped to its highest level since 2022.
This week, I saw a viral post that “can’t sell house” reached an all-time high on Google search. Usually, these are fake stats, but it turned out to be true! We posted it to BAM, and it got a ton of engagement, so we made it into a BAMx template for this week’s content drop.
You can customize it today with your 7-day free trial here.
March 29: National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day
Showcase small businesses in your area.
Ok, that’s enough. You are now set for the month.
