Ahh, yes. Here we are again in June. The official kickoff to summer and vacation season. As we get deeper into the month, everyone you need to reach in a real estate transaction will suddenly become completely unreachable. They will disappear like they were never actually on planet Earth.

Your buyer who needs to sign a DocuSign? They’ll be on a boat in Greece with zero service. The listing agent? Completely checked out, offloading all communication to their clueless assistant.

Truly a magical time to be an agent.

Some agents take their foot off the gas in summer. Others double down and steal market share. One thing is for sure: you will be the one with a full calendar of great content, because we have your June 2025 content plan right here.

National Homeownership Month

Why does this exist? Does anyone care?

According to NAR, it is a time to “promote the benefits of homeownership” and “create opportunities for future homeowners.”

So, here is some content that will not insult renters:

  1. Homeowner Journeys: Tell a story about someone you just helped become a homeowner for the first time. Share pictures of the family, couple, or individual and talk about their journey.
  2. Key Moments: Post a compilation Reel of clients receiving their keys.
  3. Reintroduce Yourself: In honor of Homeownership Month, tell the story of why you got into real estate and what you like most about it. (Hint: the feeling of seeing your clients become homeowners.) As Neel Dhingra says, it is always a good time to remind people what you do and why you do it.
  4. Give some stats about the benefits of homeownership. We got you covered in BAMx with some templates.

June 1: Pride Month Begins

Spotlight LGBTQ+ owned businesses or create a guide to local events in your market.

June 4: National Cheese Day

One of the few fake holidays worth celebrating.

If you are hosting an open house that Sunday, reference it and say you will have a display of cheese in honor of National Cheese Day. Stretch? Of course. But it could be another way to promote your open!

If there is a local cheese shop, sandwich shop, or anywhere you love getting cheese from, today is the day to mention it.

June 12 to 15: U.S. Open Golf Tournament

The 2025 U.S. Open tees off at Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania. If you are a golfer, here are some content ideas to trendjack while everyone is focused on golf. You don’t even have to mention the U.S. Open. It will just be a time where everyone is “thinking” about golf, aka a great time for golf content.

  1. Top Three Public Courses in [Your City]
  2. Best Golfing Neighborhoods in [Your City]
  3. Reel Idea: Hit a golf shot and deliver a quick market update or talk about a nearby listing. Watching a golf swing is the ultimate hook. Viewers have to see if your shot is any good. Built-in retention.

June 15: Father’s Day

Or, as real estate agents call it, National Home Inspector’s Day. Dad joke. HAHA GET IT!? That’s a dad joke in itself.

Anyway, here are some Father’s Day content ideas:

  1. Top Home Features Dads Love: Oversized garages, home theaters, outdoor kitchens with grills that cost more than your car.
  2. Two-for-one: Feature a listing with features your dad would love.
  3. Last-minute Gift Ideas: If you live in [Your City] and forgot a gift for dad, post a few quick recommendations. Restaurants, experiences, easy wins.
  4. Dream Day for Dad: Describe what a perfect day would look like for a dad or as a dad in your city. Start with the ideal breakfast spot then get into some fatherly activities in your local market.
  5. Heartfelt Post: Share a story about your dad or how your clients’ dads helped during their home-buying journey. Or post about being a dad yourself, or advice your dad gave you that you now use in your real estate business.

For example: My dad is one of the most honest people I know, and that value has stayed with me throughout my entire life and career. The blatant honesty has been the true key to all of my content!

June 20: Summer Solstice

The official start of summer. Time to trendjack summer content for the next few months. Here are some rapid-fire hyper-local ideas:

  1. What is the summer market usually like in [Your City]?
  2. Why is summer a good time to buy or sell?
  3. Summer bucket-list in…
  4. What are the best family-friendly spots to take kids in your hometown?
  5. Create a summer festivals and street fairs guide.
  6. List the best beaches or pools.
  7. Your favorite ice cream shops.
  8. The best patios and rooftops for a summer cocktail.
  9. A local concert lineup.

Give useful, opinionated content like this and it will get shared like crazy. As I always say, create content for the moment!

Social Media Tips for June

Warning: Summer can be a slower month for content. People are not as engaged. Everyone is on vacation. If your email open rates, YouTube views, blog hits, or social media engagement dip, do not freak out. It is normal. As a media company, we always see a slight slowdown.

Keep posting anyway. Building during slow months is what separates the pros from the quitters.

Also, not every post has to be a video. Screenshots of text are exploding on Instagram right now.

Bonus Social Media Tip

This month, we are opening up a free trial to our content platform. Inside, you will get weekly social media templates, video scripts, blogs, and emails — everything you need to stay consistent without wasting hours figuring out what to post.

If you want a real weekly content plan without the guesswork, now is the time to try BAMx.
