Anywhere Real Estate and RE/MAX have agreed to a proposed settlement in the Nosalek commission antitrust lawsuit.
RE/MAX, LLC has reached a settlement with the plaintiffs in the class action lawsuits known as Moerhl and Burnett (formerly Sitzer), making them the second defendant to settle and agree to some changes in their business practices.
With Anywhere taking the lead in settling both class action lawsuits on buyer agent commissions, here are some scripting changes agents and brokerages can use to adapt to an industry where buyer commissions are no longer guaranteed.
