Holiday content can get cringey fast. Between the blurry fireworks videos and the generic “Happy 4th!” graphics, most Independence Day posts blend into the background like overcooked burgers at a block party.

But agents who actually want to grow their brand and connect with their community? They’re not settling for filler content.

This week’s BAMx content drop includes Fourth of July templates and examples you’ll actually want to use, so you don’t have to choose between posting nothing or posting something you’ll regret.

Below, we’re breaking down content ideas (some of them pulled straight from the drop) to help you show up smart, relevant, and memorable this holiday week.

1. The Best Fireworks Viewing Spots

Everyone wants the perfect fireworks view. Do a quick video showing the top three places to watch in your area and include helpful info like where to park, what time to arrive, and what you might want to bring along.

Bonus points if you add:

  • A hidden gem spot most locals don’t know about
  • A mention of nearby listings or neighborhoods

2. Highlight What’s Happening Locally

Does your town have a parade, food truck festival, street fair, or sneaky late-night block party? Use a Reel, carousel post, or Green Screen to share the full rundown. This positions you as the hyper-local expert, without sounding like you’re trying to sell something.

3. Do a Traffic Tip Post (Yes, Really)

It might sound boring, but content like this works. People are obsessed with avoiding traffic, and posts like this one from Natalie Perez-Benitoa get tons of views and engagement.

Try:

  • “If you’re heading to [local beach/lake/festival], here’s the best time to leave.”
  • “Here’s the route you don’t want to take this weekend.”

Add a branded map overlay or record it as a driving POV.

4. Highlight Patriotic Properties or Local Market Data

Take a walk or drive through a neighborhood with standout Fourth of July decorations. Highlight the best setups in a Reel or Story. People love to see festive homes, even if they’re not in the market.

Want to mix in market data? Use one of this week’s BAMx reel templates. Start with:PSA: Nobody cares about your fireworks video…

Then pivot: But here’s where homes are actually blowing up: [insert neighborhoods with the biggest price jumps or fastest sales.]

5. Shout Out Local Businesses Rocking the 4th of July Spirit

Highlight bakeries, cafes, hardware stores, or small businesses going all-in on their red, white, and blue decor. Not only is this great community content, it’s a solid way to earn goodwill and potential collabs down the line.

6. Share Your Traditions

This one’s self-explanatory. People connect with people, especially during the holidays. Show your family’s traditions, what the Fourth looks like at your house, or how your day usually unfolds. No need to tie it to real estate at all.

Try a fun post like:

  • “My favorite Fourth of July food”: show the cooking process or a food montage
  • A Reel showing “Everything I ate on the 4th”
  • A throwback to childhood Fourth traditions

7. Make Fun of Yourself

You’re a real estate agent on the 4th. That means texts from buyers during the BBQ, calls from sellers right after the fireworks, and the constant inner monologue about whether this vacation rental could be a good investment.

Make a joke about it. Your fellow agents will feel seen, and your followers will get a laugh.

Here’s an example from The Broke Agent:
