If you’ve ever stared at a puzzle and felt completely stuck, only to have someone else point out the solution in two seconds, you already understand what Sharran Srivatsaa means by a “Eureka problem.”
At BAM Camp 2025, Sharran explained that most of the challenges holding business owners back are not actually hard. They just look hard until someone else gives you the key.
“Most of the problems in this world are Eureka problems. They’re not difficult. As soon as someone tells you, you’re like, ‘Oh yeah, that makes perfect sense!’ And you don’t need any more help after that.”
And the fastest way to solve them? Community.
What Are Eureka Problems?
Sharran described Eureka problems with a few simple examples. Think of the hidden arrow in the FedEx logo. Once someone points it out, you cannot unsee it.

“These Eureka problems, you should not be solving by yourself. You shouldn’t be Googling or ChatGPT-ing your way through these problems. You need a community to answer these questions.”
Why Community Solves Problems Faster
The truth is, most roadblocks in business don’t require months of research or reinvention. They require quick insight from someone who’s already figured it out.
Sharran explained it like this:
“Nine out of ten problems can be solved by just outsourcing to the community. The community is your future proof because someone else has already figured it out for you.”
Instead of spinning your wheels, you can shortcut the solution by leaning on a network of peers.
Real-World Examples of Eureka Problems
During his BAM Camp talk, Sharran rattled off a series of examples straight from the BAMx Skool community, real challenges that members solved together:
- “How can I teach my VA to edit my videos?” Within minutes, members shared tutorials and processes.
- “I’m embarrassed that I don’t have a buyer presentation.” Members jumped in with their own slides, scripts, and workflows.
- “What should I say in my homebuyer webinar?” The thread quickly filled with examples, full funnels, and even email campaigns.
- “My content is getting nine views, it sucks.” That turned into step-by-step advice on hooks, formats, and how to improve reach.
- “How should I structure comp for my marketing director?” Community members shared templates, real pay structures, and recommendations.
On their own, each of these problems could waste weeks of trial and error. Inside a community, they were solved in hours.
Why Going Solo Does Not Work
Too many agents waste time trying to figure everything out on their own. They download generic scripts, test random strategies, or worse, get paralyzed and do nothing.
Sharran’s point was blunt:
“You need a community. If you don’t have a community, you’re completely underperforming.”
That might sound harsh, but it is the reality of today’s market. You don’t have the luxury of spending hours, days, or weeks reinventing the wheel. Every other profession relies on peer networks, coaching, or mastermind groups to share best practices.
Real estate is no different.
Community as a Future-Proof Strategy
Sharran closed this part of his presentation by tying Eureka problems back to the bigger picture, future-proofing your business. In a world where AI and automation are changing fast, the one thing technology cannot replace is human insight.
“When the world gets more ‘connected’ and more disconnected, our humanity is going to be everything. You get the referral because someone thought of you. They love you. They care about you. They want you to win. That is why they made the referral to you.”
The big takeaway? Your ability to thrive long term is not just about skill or hustle. It’s about having the right people in your corner.
You don’t get brownie points for doing it all yourself with no help from anyone else. What you get is frustration, limited growth, and wasted time. Having a supportive community of professionals to tap into (and contribute to) changes everything.
Sharran’s advice should hit home for anyone trying to build a business in real estate today. Most of the roadblocks slowing you down are not unique. They’ve already been solved by someone else. The real question is whether you’re connected to a community where you can get those answers quickly.
If you’re not already in the BAMx Skool community, this is exactly where these kinds of Eureka problems get solved every day.
From scripts to systems to marketing strategies, you do not have to figure it all out alone. Community is the key to unlocking your potential and making it count.
